Aggregating and forming a business network can constitute a valid strategy for SMEs that characterize the Veneto region, which, thanks to the network, can create economies of scale, establish partnerships, make targeted investments in inter-company research and development projects, and have a greater impact on the domestic market and international markets.
The network metaphor indicates the connection between the various participating entities that form its nodes while maintaining their own autonomy and seeking profitable collaboration opportunities. A network, therefore, not a cage, that can adapt and accompany companies on a tailored growth path, coordinated yet autonomous.
Within the RIN, applied research activities considered strategic by the Veneto Region are developed in order to support business competitiveness and regional GDP growth. The RIN can participate in the Regional Operational Programme European Regional Development Fund (ROP ERDF) Axis 1, obtaining dedicated funds.
The Networks also represent the Region in the National Technology Clusters (Clan and Alisei Clusters, in the case of RIBES-Nest) and in the European platforms dedicated to R&D topics.
